About the book:
Cinderella lives—except her name is Cindy and she resides in Seattle! Cindy is forced to run her late father’s muffler shop. Will her step-sisters’ shenanigans and Luke Princeton’s charms only make her life even more unbearable? Cindy’s step-sister Annie has reformed her ways. But how will she prove it to the man she loves? Step-sister Zella is writing her own love story. But is she using a poison pen? Cindy’s godmother, Farrah, has caught the attentions of a younger man. Does she have the courage to love again? How far will God go to give these women a happy-ever-after?
My thoughts: I started this book and it's cute so far.

I love, love the movie Ever After.....but I think my favorite "cinderella type stories" are actually about guys and women...in the bible! I think God knows we all love those types of stories as there is so many of them in the bible!
Joseph, Daniel, David, Ruth, Esther, etc. God used ordinary, mistreated people to be His leaders in the bible and I think He still does that! martha(at)lclink(dot)com

I love the one with Hillary Duff that's a teen movie. I can't for the life of me think of the name of it. It's cute though.

Cinderella stories are always fun. I love them all! I watch/read them over and over. The modern takes are always interesting to see the twists they take. Thanks for the giveaway.

I am really curious about this book, wanted to read it too.
I like Cinderella stories because my name is Cindi and my maternal grandpa
called me "Cinderella" as a child...
In fact, he had nicknames for all of his grandchildren.
Also, I like happy endings!
Many thanks, Cindi

I like Disney's Cinderella and Ever After as well. My second daughter is named after the heroine and her mother in Ever After. Her name is Danielle Nicole. I am not sure if the movie influenced me or not.
