New giveaway! Now I'm giving away Courage to Change by Elizabeth Maddrey

About the book:

Book Two of the 'Grant Us Grace' Series.

When Phil Reid became a Christian and stopped drinking, his hard-partying wife Brandi divorced him. Reeling and betrayed, he becomes convinced Christians should never remarry, and resolves to guard his heart.

Allison Vasak has everything in her life under control, except for one thing. Her heart is irresistibly drawn to fellow attorney and coworker, Phil. Though she knows his history and believes that women should not initiate relationships, she longs to make her feelings known.

As Phil and Allison work closely together to help a pregnant teen, Allison melts his defenses. But when Brandi discovers Phil's new relationship, she decides that though she doesn't want him, no one else can have him. Can Phil and Allison's love weather the chaos Brandi brings into their lives?

My review:

Coming soon! I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Look for a full review in June! The review will also be featured in The Wordsmith Journal Magazine's June issue. :)

Now for the question....  What do you think about divorced Christians remarrying?

EACH relatinship should be decided by GOD,s word. Also what is best for every one involved, especially if there are any children involved.
thanks
Anne
never judge another Christian for this.

Anne - I totally agree! And I hope the book conveys that belief as well - there are definitely some bumps along the way when there are past relationships to consider, but God can and does heal and restore if we are faithful.

thanks for dropping by!

God gives us new beginnings and frees us from the past.

Hello, If a couple have given effort to making their marriage work, but it doesn't, then, I believe it is time to move on! If there are children involved, even more so.
If and when a Christian remarries,
there is a better chance for it to work, when both parties have a true faith and live it!
Many thanks, Cindi

I think everything is all up to God. If he meant it to happen that way, then it will. God is constantly testing us. Thanks for the giveaway. I am follower and email subscriber. Tore923@aol.com

Oh, Jean - hugs! In the book, Phil is also very conflicted. I think that's natural (and good, for that matter, since it helps us remember to lean on God for answers.)

Victoria, it's comforting to rest in God's plan, isn't it?
