For me, there weren't that many Michelle's that I can recall until I was in high school and by then it was no biggie as we changed classes so we weren't in the same class for long. I do know a girl named Jessica whose situation was that there were so many Jessica's in her class she started going by the nickname OJ (for other Jessica). Cute, eh?

As for the name "Casey" I don't really have a hard time, except for when I sub at the preschool. There are a couple Caseys there and so when one is scolded, I am not sure if they are talking to me or someone else. :)

I didn't have many people with my name growing up and certainly none in my class, but when I went to Sr. High church camp, there was a girl who had my same first AND last name! Only difference was our middle names and her birthday was even a week or so after mine! It was so weird because the first year when we checked in we were giving cards with all of our info on it, and I looked at mine and said that it wasn't me.

I grew up in a small town of only 400 people and had 14 classmates. Two of us were named Lisa.
Then, of all things, I married a man whose brother also married a Lisa, so we have the same first and last names.
I trained myself not to answer for the most part--although that has always annoyed people--because it can get embarrassing when they say "I didn't mean you!"
Unfortunately, now I tend to turn around any time I hear a child calling for "Mom". I can't win for losing. lol
I met a girl with my first name while in grade 11 or 12. She was a year older than me and connected very well as casual friends. I would love to be entered in your draw. Thanks.

Well, my name was so unique it wasn't used much so it wasn't a problem.Lela Mae was not an easy one to confuse with another yet. But when I went to high school the Spanish teacher wanted to give us a name in Spanish close to ours. Well, there was no Lela Mae. So he just named me Maria. Yes, I know another Katie and one time we both were together in a play. It was interesting, but the others finally figured out what to call us! :-) One was Katie H and the other (myself) Katie M! :-) And that is what we still go by! :-)

I didn't have any other Rebecca's in my class during highschool. But there where two in the grade above me. It was only confusing when we where all in the same room. Which actually happened a lot. It really wasn't too big of a deal for us. We thought we were pretty cool because all three of us are named Rebecca Lynn....but with three different spellings of Lynn (Lynne and Lyne).
