I will draw the winner's name next Sunday, May 31st. :)
To enter your name into this giveaway contest, simply post a comment about whether or not you're ever had an obsession and if you have (and are brave enough) then share what it was. I'll go first. I used to be obsessed about my weight. I know that is cliche, but when I was a teen I was never happy with how I looked (ironically I was much thinner in those days) but the Lord healed me of that obsession when I confessed it and I've not obsessed about my body image since (over 22 years now). So what is/was your obsession?
About the book:
It is us against the world, Abigail thought. You and me.... Sisters.
Abigail Bennett was completely in control of her life until tragedy pushed her to the brink of something shed never experienced: obsession. Now, shes given up everything shes ever worked for to chase down the object of that obsession. His name is Tyler Kamp. As Abigail follows him across the border into Canada to a beautiful winery in British Columbia, her journey is awash in memories of family and childhood, especially those of her younger sister, Hailey. Dangerously beautiful yet indefinably needy, Hailey seemed to take all the risks Abigail avoided. Until now. But even as Abigail races into her future, her past continues to pull her back. Only when she is brought to the edge of her obsession will she be able to come to terms with the tragedy that ignited it.
A breathtaking story about the emotional risks of relationships, The Moment Between explores the cost of regret, the desire for revenge, and the redemptive power of forgiveness.
My thoughts:
Interestingly enough, I don't have this book on my shelves. It sounds like my kind of read, too. Bummer. I loved Nicole's first book (the sky blue one with the yellow chick on the cover) so I'm sure this "reality" fiction is quality stuff, too.

I've had many obsessions, but the one that has most affected my life was a weight obsession!
I was anorexic by the time I was 15 and have lost and gained over 300 lbs since then until I, with the help of God, I accepted and finally loved myself.
Thanks so much!

I've struggled with the looks obsession myself, either my weight, my figure, you name it, I've obsessed over it. I'm not entirely over it, but with God's help and my husband and friends' encouragement, it is getting better.
I'd love to be entered into the book contest. This book sounds really interesting.

Michelle,
I had the same obsession you wrote about. I also had a crush of mammoth proportions in sixth grade that was beyond embarrassing. :D
I've been learning a lot about this author lately and would love to win her book. I know I'll end up reading all three either way.

Thank you for the entry.
My latest obsession is finding work for my husband. With our economic downturn life has gotten harder, and lay-offs came and went. Obsessing over providing for my family is necessary at the moment. Although due to my O.C.D. when this problem is fixed, I will find something else to obsess over.

My obsession is more with food than anything else. I've lost weight twice, but gained it back both times. Hopefully this time my weight loss will last.
This book is on my must-read list, so thank you for the chance to win a copy.

To this day, I'm still obsessed about my weight. I always start to lose weight, then I gain it back.

Organization. I like things neat and tidy. My co-workers always used to bug me about how "empty" my desk was, because I didn't have the stacks of paper and such that everyone else in the office did. I had to have it all filed or organized somehow. And since they say that spouses should complement each other, I married a man who definately can use my assistance in organization! :) That's what we spent this weekend doing...
Wow obsessions, I probably have so many I don't even think about them. I do know I am obsessed about a certain few tv programs. I got DVR just so that I wouldn't miss an episode. I seem to get very upset if I don't know what happend the last episode and I hate it when people interupt me when I'm watching the programs. Please enter me in the drawing the book sounds very interesting.
Thanks
Katherine

My obsession lately is attracting hummingbirds to my yard. I'm sure that everyone around me thinks I'm crazy!!
I'm obsessed with my garden. Everything has to be just so. If even one weed pokes it head up I'm right there pulling it.
I really can't think of any obsessions I've ever had. Strange.
By the way, I love reading books about relationships, so this one sounds really good.
I am obsessed about health! One could say that I am almost a hypochondriac! It cause a lot of anxiety and worry in me. Thanks, Cindi

I would have to say I've always been obssessed with my weight. I've always never been satisfied with my body image or weight. Now I'd give anything to be what I was years ago. Thank you for the entry.

Oh my obsessions have sadly been too many. When I was a teen and into my mid 20s I was obsessed with my weight and working out. I went into therapy but it didn't help. My other obsession was my relationship with my college sweetheart. We were the campus couple and unfortunately had a very unhealthy relationship. We had a vicious cycle of on again off again until also my mid 20s. He also was a bad influence with my body image because he too was obsessed with it. We would work out together for hours and eat nothing but ridiculously low fat food (can you imagine I once thought a baked potato without butter was a good thing?) Honestly, it wasn't until I moved out of state that things became more bearable, because we finally were able to not run into each other. It always seemed like as soon as I got control over things, we would run into eachother and start up again.
Great giveaway

I like to think that I don't have any obsessions, although I guess you could say that I'm obsessed with saving money when I buy something. I really don't like to buy anything unless it's on sale or I have a coupon, etc. And I'm also obsessed with going out as often as I can to yard sales, estate sales, etc.
My obsession is the skin on my face, I have never like it. It has always been to oily, then to dry, and now is maturing and I have age spots. So what do I do, I buy every new cream and lotion that comes out on the market. But I have yet to find one that truly helps my skin problems that much. So the beat goes on.

I am obsessed with worrying about what others think about me. I've always felt that I don't "fit in". Since I've gotten married, it's not quite as big of an issue ~ my husband loves me no matter what. :)
Thank you!

And OOPS I forgot the obsession - ummm I have been obsessed about my weight. I do get obsessed when it comes to wondering what people think of me... I overanalyze my life sometimes. I'm not sure if that counts as an obsession, lol. I don't think I get to "obsession" that often unless you count blogging and reading and chocolate. ;-)
