Okay, so far I already have two names in the hat for this one. Go Angie, go Mindy! Anyway, this book is fabulous. I keep thinking about the movie Sleeping with the Enemy. You know the one starring Julia Roberts? Anyway, that movie was one that kept me on the edge of my seat. This story, Remember to Forget, is similar, but IMHO it's even better. The element of constant fear is not present like with the movie, but the small town feel and her desire to remain hidden and not be found out is the same. I really identify with the heroine. The author did a fabulous job showing a character who is living an unflattering and unlikeable life and you still identify and sympathize with her. I haven't felt like slapping this woman even once. That's impressive considering she is not exactly being honest with the people who seem to care. But trust is an issue. I love watching a fearful, needy person learn to trust, to take emotional baby steps. Maybe that's why I'm a social worker. Bravo, Deb Raney! This one is a keeper.
Oh, and one last thing. From this point forward whenever I mention the book Remember to Forget in a post, all you have to do to win the book is comment on that post and tell me you want to win. And puhleeeze, if you are not in my address book, can you leave some way for me to contact you if you win? Thanks.

Hi Michelle,
Based on your description, Deborah Raney's 'Remember to Forget' seems like an ideal read for anyone that fears moving forward or trusting another because of the shadows of the past. I am sure Raney's work details a hopeful journey, always a beacon of intrigue for those hopeful romantics on the planet, like me. I would love the chance to enjoy the gift of 'Remember to Forget.' Best wishes, and good luck everyone!

Now THIS one I want to win!!!
I'd love to win _Remember to Forget_. _Sleeping with the Enemy_ was too intense for me. This one sounds just right. Or am I thinking of _While You Were Sleeping_? Or was it, _While You Were Sleeping with the Enemy_? Anyway, thanks for the chance to win! :)
Oh, I've read ALL of Deb's books and she's a fantastic writer. Thanks for giving us this opportunity for her new one. Hmm, would it better than chocolate? Nah, nothing's better than chocolate.
Sorry for the test. I'm having problems logging into your blog...again! Frustrating.
Anyway, I met the lovely, adorable, sweet Deb Raney at CBA Advance in Indy last week. Got my signed copy of Remember to Forget and can't wait to read it!!!! I just loved A Vow to Cherish, so I know I'll love this new one just as much.
Have an awesome week, everyone, and especially YOU, Michelle!
Blessings,
Shar
