New giveaway! Now I'm giving away Rodeo Queen by Shannon Taylor Vannatter!

About the book:

Caitlyn Wentworth loves being a rodeo queen...

Until she starts receiving threatening letters from a stalker. The good news is, the Texas Ranger assigned to her case is none other than her former sweetheart Mitch Warren; the man who chose his career over love.

Mitch vows to focus on protecting the woman he's never forgotten. But Caitlyn stirs up memories best left in the past. When Mitch insists on hiding Caitlyn away on his family's San Antonio ranch, will he keep things professional or seek out a second chance?

And now for the question...Have you ever been to a live rodeo? If yes, what was your favorite event?

Yes, I attended a rodeo in Wyoming in the '90s. I love the bull riding. That was the same year Lane Frost died. What a loss to the circuit. I love Tuff also.
Blessings

I have only been to one rodeo and I prefer bronco riding to bull riding. Both are dangerous, but it seems to me that broco riding would be somewhat safer. I like watching the instant the bucking chute opens and man and horse lurch forward. Staying on the horse for 8 seconds seems easy, but it isn't.

Hey y'all,
I guess I got started writing rodeo books because my dad announced at a very small rodeo in our town and I worked in the concession stand. I didn't think about it until years later when I saw a cowboy to the bone guy holding hands with a girl dressed in a business suit at the State Fair of Arkansas. I wondered what they had in common and that wondering became the first book in this series. And I'm a lot like the heroine in that book - bulls terrify her. They make me really nervous. When my family and I went to Cowtown Coliseum at the Fort Worth Stockyards to research the series, I was a nervous wreck through the bronc and bull riding.

Congratulations Katrina and I appreciate everyone for stopping in.
