New giveaway! Enter for a chance to win Unconditional by Tanya Eavenson

About the book:

He will fight for her at any cost...

Elizabeth Roberts can't remember her past, and the present is too painful. She turns to nightclubs and drinking to forget her infant daughter's death, her husband's affair.

When his wife's coma wiped out the memory of their marriage, Chris Roberts found comfort elsewhere. He can't erase his betrayal, but with God's help he’s determined to fight for Elizabeth at any cost.

She wants to forget. He wants to save his marriage. Can they trust God with their future and find a love that’s unconditional?

My thoughts:

Review coming on this one. I've been super busy this week but I've read the first 1/4 of the book and so far I like it's toned down realism, and on the other hand I can give an overall opinion because I haven't finished it yet. I will post a review of this book when I finish.

Now for the question you need to answer for a chance to can answer one or all of the three part question. How unconditional must our love be? God has no problem forgiving when we confess our sins, so why do you think we as Christians struggle with this when Christ loved and forgave us? Why is it so hard to forgive others the same way...before they prove themselves and just because they asked sincerely for forgiveness?

I will select a winner using "the Hat" program next Sunday.

I think the reason we do not forgive ourselves is because it is an inborn thing that keeps us from doing it again. As far as forgiving others, purely self protection.

We should love one another no matter what till death we part, but that is awful hard to do for some people you have to have trust in each other. If we are God children then we have to forgive as God forgave us.I don't know why it is hard to forgive others as Christ forgave us, it is hard for humans, i guess we don't see the good in people as Christ can. Thank you for the giveaway book. God bless you.

The name of this book draws you in and the story will hold interest I am sure, I like reading stories where memories have gone and new ones can be made, it is like starting all over with a clean slate if only both will try harder this time...
thanks for sharing this review.

I think that forgiveness, while we should be all forgiving, sometimes it still means we can't have a relationship with that person, until they prove themselves trustworthy of it. I think that we have an odd view of what forgiveness is in this life. We seem to believe it is letting someone continue to hurt us at times because we forgave them!

I think it is hard to forgive other because we don't want to be hurt again. God is always willing to forgive us no matter what we do. God's love is unconditional and our love for other should be unconditional as well. But it is hard to trust someone if they keep on hurting you over and over again. I don't know how God does it. I know we hurt and turn away from him all the time but he always forgives. So I truly think we don't understand forgiveness.
