To enter for a chance to win one of these books simply tell me which book you prefer and why. Thief is a historical fantasy and The Wedding Kiss is a historical romance (marriage of convenience.) So go ahead and pick one, but only one... I will pick a winner next Sunday using the Randomizer program.
About the book Thief:
Exiled in shame and wounded in battle, Caden O’Byrne accepts a mission of penance—to search for his healer’s long-lost daughter. At worst, he’ll finally get his death wish. At best, this could be God’s second chance. But the lovely minstrel Sorcha wants no part in him, his newfound God, or the rescue. In fact, she’s robbed him blind—to help finance her work of buying young captives and returning them to their families. She’s also gone into debt and promised to marry a man she doesn’t love—all for the chidlren’s sake. But before she and Caden can sort out the situation, a treacherous murder forces them to run for their lives…together. While Caden’s rekindled faith is tested, Sorcha wonders if his God is real. If so, can a thief like her dare hope for His mercy? And do the two of them have a chance of reaching home—Sorcha’s real home—alive?
My thoughts:
I had the pleasure of endorsing this book. You don't have to read Healer first, but it does give added perspective to the story. This book was released in June 2011 and was published by David C. Cook.
About the book The Wedding Kiss:
A kiss can be life-changing.
When Keara and Elam Jensen share their first kiss on their wedding day, a marriage of convenience becomes much less convenient! It also becomes more than they expected when God shows them what He really has in store for their lives. Will their mysteriously injured visitor ruin their future, or will her influence—and her personal battle—draw them
into deadly danger?
Visit Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in 1901, and discover for yourself what excitement and romance await along the White River Hollow.
My thoughts:
This book is on back order and I'm supposed to get it soon. I love the cover and I love these types of stories. Bummer I didn't get to read it prior to the giveaway. Sorry about that. This book was released Sept. 1st, 2011 and was published by Summerside Press.

Hi Michelle, I'd definitely enjoy reading The Wedding Kiss. It sounds like a story about growing and maturing marital love. I want to see the miracle God gives this couple. Thanks for this giveaway and the chance to win.

Thief. The spunky heroine sounds awesome, and I like fantasy settings.

Cher :-)
The Wedding Kiss has an unfair advantage being that I've vacationed in Eureka Springs many times (including honeymoon) so I would love to be entered for that one if I may.

Diffidently The Wedding Kiss: Just the idea of a marriage of convenience: Can't wait to see what God has in store.
I'd love to win "The Wedding Kiss" because I enjoy reading historical fiction set at the turn of the 20th century!

The Thief sounds exciting. It's been a while since I've read a fantasy novel. I used to read them all the time, so it's high time I add a fantasy novel to my reading stack.
The Wedding Kiss! I've been eyeing that one. :-) Jenness at yahoo dot com
oh, they both sound good but since I have to pick one I'd choose The Wedding Kiss because that is the genre I enjoy reading. thanks

Dina!
and the winner of The Wedding Kiss is...
Susan!
Cool, although I'm a little sad there were so few responses for Thief. I sure wish more CBA readers would try fiction outside of their normal genres. It would be good for the industry as a whole.
