New giveaway! Now I'm giving away Cascade by Lisa Bergren!

Here is a "different" type of question for you this week. If you could go back to the 13th century through time what would you be most intrigued with? I will select a winner using the Randomizer program next Sunday. Have a great week!

About the book:

Gabi knows she’s left her heart in the fourteenth century and she persuades Lia to help her to return, even though they know doing so will risk their very lives. When they arrive, weeks have passed and all of Siena longs to celebrate the heroines who turned the tide in the battle against Florence—while the Florentines will go to great lengths to see them dead. But Marcello patiently awaits, and Gabi must decide if she’s willing to leave her family behind for good in order to give her heart to him forever.

My thoughts:

I am still waiting for my copy to arrive so I can read it.

Count me in! You know what a pushover I am for a good medieval time-travel.

Question: is this an adult-reader story, or YA? Doesn't matter, I want to win anyway...but I'm just curious.

Hmmm...I would be most intrigued with how slow it took them to do the simplest tasks compared to how quickly most can be done presently. Also, how in the world they managed without a phone! :o)

I've read Waterfall, and I'm itching to jump into the next book in the series.

Oh, and what would I be intrigued with? I would be intrigued with how on earth they managed all the layers, hair styles, and did not rebel against it...

I haven't read any of these books. They sound intriguing.

I would be most intrigued with the architecture and how they built such extravagant structures! Of course, I probably wouldn't be fortunate enough to land in one of those places :)

I guess I'm going to have to find and read Waterfall now! I'm most intrigued with the way the ladies managed their clothing and hair back then. Well, maybe not MOST - that's just one of the things I'm intrigued with... all of that time is fascinating to me. :)

I would be most intrigued with the clothing, and if the women could even get dressed without having help.
