Comments about covers and story...PLEASE READ and comment.

Here is the deal. These comments have been great because they tell me what most of you perceive. This book is NOT the first book, which is Never Without Hope. This book is the sequel. The title will stay Their Separate Ways because it's the only title with that name if you look for it on Amazon. If you remove Their then you get bunches of books on Amazon.

As far as the contrasting pictures goes, Hope is the woman and she has experienced forgiveness and renewal in her marriage to her husband after the affair, so she is joyful because she has been forgiven despite the painful betrayal in the past. He is the man she was cheating with. He does not know forgiveness and his wife is hateful and won't let him forget what he's done so he is despondent and hopeless. So their emotional portrayal has nothing to do with each other and everything to do with their marriage situations. That said, how do you feel now about the pictures... PLEASE comment as this helps a lot!

I like the cover with the woman in the white dress expressing joy at being happy and forgiven. I think it was Cover 2. I think it's better for the plot, because it shows the man banging his head who does not know forgiveness.

I still like number 2 because he has that look of defeat I've tried all I can, and she looks free, and i also like number five, but I think I like number 2 the best!:)

After what you said I looked at the photos again. And I still think (IMO) that #2 is best. It shows her forgiveness and his dispondency.

I don't like covers 1,3 or 4, I don't think it is a good image of what you want to portray in your book. She just looks angry in number 3- not the image of forgiveness.

But number 5 isn't bad, considering what you told me about the covers. But that also begs the question- you had to tell me. You can't tell your readers and I think #2 tells what you want to communcate the best.

Okay, I'll go away now. :)

After reading this, I'm going to have to go with #2.

I love Cover 5. I really think it does a good job of portraying what you're describing here--with the top being so melancholy (and lonely) and the bottom being so hopeful. It's a beautiful cover and I think it's one that begs to be read!

I love, love cover 2.

Cover 4, she looks angry and it turns me away. 3 and 5 aren't attention grabbing enough. But 2 is how every woman wants to feel :-) Happy and elegant.
