Review of Supreme Confidence by Deborah Smith Pegues

Supreme Confidence - Secrets to Bold and Fearless Living by Deborah Smith Pegues is definitely a keeper of a book, to be read again and again. (Pegues is the bestsellingauthor of 30 Days to Taming Your Tongue, another book filled with Godly wisdom.)

Part 1 of Supreme Confidence deals with "Seven Syndromes of Insecurity." Using seven Bible characters, the author illustrates how their insecurities caused them to sin. For instance; Saul's jealousy over David caused him to want to kill David. A root of insecurity also caused Eliab to envy his brother David. We are sure to see ourselves in at least some of these situations.

Part II deals with the "Seven Road blocks to Supreme Confidence," from prayerlessness and pride to perfectionism and personal devaluation.

Part III gives you "Seven Strategies for Conquering the Giant of Insecurity." All of these strategies are based on God's unerring Word, His wisdom and knowledge.

Part IV deals with the "Seven Habits of Emotionally Secure People." If we can embrace our individuality, we can enjoy the success of others.

I highly recommend Supreme Confidence and will read it again and again.
