My Friend Amy: Faith 'n Fiction Saturday: Reading Plans for the New Year

Welcome to Faith 'n Fiction Saturday, a weekly meme where we discuss Christian fiction. To participate, simply write your answer on your blog and the come back here and add the permalink to your post in the Mr. Linky below. Please also link back to this specific post. If you don't have a blog, feel free to answer in comments!

Today's question is something you may have already written about on your blog in some form, but it seems appropriate as the first question for the year.

What are your reading goals for the new year? Do you have plans to read through the Bible or complete any Bible studies? Do you hope to expand your reading horizons or reread some old favorites? Do you want to read more fiction or non-fiction? Do you want to increase the amount of Christian fiction you read? Do you have any goals for reading as it relates to your blog?

My answer:

Well, this is the deal with me. I read 97 books last year. Just 3 shy of 100. My goal for this next year is to top 100 or at least make it that far. Also, I do several Bible studies with people from my church so that is never a problem. I just do whatever the current study is.

Reading Plans for the New Year

Michelle,

97 is a lot of books. I have no idea how many I have read. i know I have a stack to write reviews on that I have read but the Christmas Holidays side tracked me. I am going to set up something to keep track this year.

Very ambitious! You must be a fast reader. I wish I had the time to read that many books. You must read 2 or 3 a week.

Love your style. Direct, short, and very sure of yourself. 97? Not bad at all!!!
