What I'm reading this first week of October...

Wondering why I seem to like books from Harvest House so much. :) Hehehe. Anyway, I updated my website with my latest review and a gorgeous photo of me with Trish Perry, author of The Guy I'm Not Dating. I loved that book! Back to what I'm reading...

I started reading Trial By Ordeal by Craig Parshall last night, I'm still reading Beetle Bunker by Robert Elmer and Calm, Cool, and Adjusted by Kristin Billerbeck. I hope to finish Freefall by Kristen Heitzmann over the next few days.

I'm also reading The Measure of A Lady by Deeanne Gist. I love historicals but am in a chick lit contemporary fiction mood these days. Probably because it's all so GOOD! Ack, I wonder if I can even hit it close with my work in progress. We'll see. Also, I picked up Like Sheep Gone Astray by Leslie Sherrod. I've been eyeing this book for some time now and wanting to read it. I get the feeling once I start I'll be hauling it around with me until I'm done! I love books like that!

You mentioned you're reading "Measure of a Lady" also. I read that one but found it boring. Still, I liked it enough to try Deanne's next one, "A Bride Most Begrudging". Of the two, that one is really the winner. Maybe you've already read it, but if not, pick it up.

I loved _The List_ by Robert Listlow, for mysteries, and the Christy-winner, _River Rising_.

I also have _Secrets_ by Heitzman near the top of my TBR pile, along with _A Vase of Mistaken Identity_.

I'm finishing ***_Wishing on Dandelions_, which I'm giving away this week on my blog, after I finish the darlin' story. And _The Chase_ by Robin Shope, which I started before the ACFW conference.

For non-fiction, I'm enjoying _Getting in God's Face_, on prayer, by Dutch Sheets.

And next, I'm reading Linda Windsor's _Fiesta Moon_ and Brandilyn Collins' _Violet Dawn_, then, _Deliver Us from Evelyn_ which I will then return to you....

Like the t-shirt says--so many books, so little time.

I'm starting a Bible study in my home, but that won't require preparation. We're just going to watch these luscious DVDs, That the World May Know, Bible stories on location! http://store.roadtoglory.us/that-the-world-may-know-br-faith-lessons.html

Did I mention I'm writing? LOL

Hugs~
