About the book:
Josh Harrison, a contemporary Christian singer, and his wife Bethany face a difficult decision that also tests their faith. A rupture in Beth's carotid artery leaves her on the brink of death even as she's pregnant with their first child. While Dr. Ben Abrams urges her to terminate the pregnancy to save her own life, she and Josh step out on faith and decide to carry the baby to full term.
During the next few months, Josh struggles with his faith, Beth hides a secret that may destroy their marriage. She also discovers a decades-old connection to Dr. Abrams that could change his life forever.
My thoughts:
I haven't read this book and don't have a copy of it so I can't say, but I really like the description and it sounds intriguing. I would probably like this book if I had it.

Stories that make me cry are the bestest of the best. I even cry when I'm reading my own stories and editing them. Please enter me in this contest.
I do like books that make me cry, although, the books that get to me most are dog stories. I'm a total sap for a sad dog story! I've read "Where the Red Fern Grows" so many times... and still blubber through the ending. *sigh*

What a difficult situation to be in!
Stories that make me cry, in a few situations, are just fine. I don't want to cry throughout most of the book, though...
Many thanks, Cindi

Michelle, thank you for featuring The Road to Mercy! I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments.
I like to read books that mirror life, even when that includes the difficult moments. It's so much easier when we realize we're not alone.
Yes, if I didn't I wouldn't be reading you! Stories that tug at my heart make me cry!
Thanks for the chance.

Never been afraid of crying. Stories that make me cry are bitter-sweet, but we all need the reflections that a novel with this impact has. Life isn't always a bed of roses. I'm looking forward to reading this book with a box of kleenex by my side. :-)
Yes, I love stories that make me cry. Because they also make me think deeper about the world and give me more empathy for those I come across.
I can't wait to read this book. Thanks for a chance to win:
