No, it's not a real infant, but this book is now in print and let me tell you...it's simply gorgeous! I had no idea it would be this beautiful. I am such a proud momma. Now I want to pass the blessing on to one lucky winner. All you have to do to enter for a chance to win this book is tell me why you want to read it and then tell me if you have read any of my other books (and which ones you've read, if any.) Then if you win the book I simply ask that you post an honest review. I think the story inside is beautiful, too. But you (winner) can be the judge of that. So enter away! I'll pick a winner when I'm good and ready, but it won't be more than a week from now, promise!
About the book:
Sometimes for dreams to come true, you have to let go . . .
Outwardly Diane Simmons appears to have everything a woman could want. A successful attorney, she’s beautiful and talented, and yet she always seems to be attracted to the wrong men. Longing to be loved for who she is, not for what she looks like, she finally realizes the world’s view of love is totally unrealistic and distorted and gives up on romance. She wants to find a better way but has no clue where to look.
Dave Passel can never father a biological child. He loves his foster son deeply, but something goes terribly wrong before the adoption can be finalized. When the State tries to reunite the child with the birth mother he has never known and the new caseworker accuses Dave of sabotaging visits with her, he hires Diane to fight for him in court. He believes in God’s sovereignty, but bad experiences with his late wife make it hard for him to trust Diane as she advocates for his son. If only he didn’t struggle so much with letting go . . .

Hi Michelle, I would love to read this book because it sounds like a great story where God ends up putting two people together in a way they had no idea was coming for them. I love things like that! I have also read your Danger at the Door and In Plain Sight recently, and absolutely loved both of them--they are two of my favorites! I did post reviews for them on Amazon and Goodreads and would very much like to see your new "baby" in person! From here, it's beautiful! :D
Michelle- I can only imagine how proud you must be of your new bundle of joy- and I figure that just like with children- there is always room in the heart for one more:) Congrats and I would love to be entered in the giveaway for a chance to see your new baby! :)

Looks like a wonderful book, and beautiful cover. I'll throw my name in the hat to win.
Interesting. I was just online last night looking for your book 'First Response' in a format that is compatible with my reader, when I saw this book listed as well, However, it said 'Pre-order' (Can't remember the sire exactly ...) anyway, I guess I was a day early!
Hi Michelle,
I've never read any of your books yet but am quite curious to experience one! I also find the plot about a foster child & complications with state & birth mother intriguing... this is a type of situation that I think is not much portrayed in fiction, compared to how many people face it in real life.
I would love to be entered! THe book sounds amazing. I would like to read it because my heart is very adoption oriented. :) Also, a good romance book is never a bad thing! :) I have never read any books by you, but I would love to as they all sound magnificent!
Thanks and God bless!

Hi Michelle, I haven't read any of your books yet, but I think this might be a good place to start. I didn't meet my husband until I was 35, and it sounds like I might have a lot in common with Diane. My husband and I are currently trying to adopt. I would love to have a child under 4, not just an infant or two, but the foster system doesn't seem like a good place to do it just for heartbreaks like this. I know of a few like this through acquaintances. I love to read books where I can relate to characters and admire the main characters while understanding their shortcomings. It's fun to review books and movies at my blog site. May this current baby of yours be very fruitful!
Michelle, this might be your most beautiful cover yet. It's simply gorgeous. Congrats on your new baby!
Hi Michelle,
Your book is beautiful, and I'd love to read it. The story sounds intriguing. For some reason, I love books that involve lawyers, but most of them are men. That makes yours even more intriguing.
Thanks for having the contest. If you pick me, I'd be happy to write about it on my blog and post reviews for you.
Hope you sell lots of copies!
