About the book:
A year ago in Afghanistan, Green Beret Heath Daniel’s career was destroyed. Along with his faith. Now he and his military war dog, Trinity, train other dogs and their handlers. Though his passion is to be back in action, the medical discharge has forced Heath—and Trinity—to the sidelines. Military intelligence officer Darci Kintz is captured while secretly tracking the Taliban. Only one dog can handle the extreme conditions to save her. Trinity. Only one man can handle Trinity. Time is running out on the greatest—and most dangerous—mission of their lives.
My thoughts:
I enjoy Ronie's writing and even though I don't have this book, I can pretty much guarantee it's a good read.
Now for the question... Do you like stories about animals? If yes, why and what kind?
A winner will be chosen next Sunday using the Randomizer program.

I do enjoy stories with animals in them. They make a unique addition to the storyline. The dog in Trinity is the kind I grew up with and the kind police officers use. So I would truly love to win this one. Mainly because I LOVE Ronie's books!!!

I love any kind of animals in stories, esp if they have a purpose and are quirky. :)
Oh yes, I love stories about animals. I love ones that end up with the dog being a hero. Such as, waking a person up because their house is on fire, or ones that their pet dog with his actions was responsible for a lady finding out she had breast cancer. I could go on and on but you get the picture. Dogs are VERY loyal animals.
I would love to win a copy of Trinity. I've heard so much about it.
Blessings!

I love animals in stories because I love animals. I think you can add a very real element with animals because people act differently around animals. When someone lives alone or spend a lot of time alone they talk to their animals (or is that just me?). I write adventurous stories and I usually have animals in them because I just can't imagine life without my many furkids. :) I think almost any type of story is enhanced by animals and one that has stuck with me for a long time...and I can't remember which book in the Black Sands series it was, but Colleen Coble wrote about a dolphin and I still think about that story.
I would love a chance to win this book. Thanks for the opportunity.

I do enjoy when an animal is a strong character in a book. I think it adds a depth since so many of us have pets that are parts of our lives.
I like stories with animals, especially when the animal is loyal and there's some humor!

Not sure I remember reading a story recently about an animal. The dog on the cover looks a lot like my German Shephard. Please enter me. Thanks.

Yes I love stories about animals, I've always been a devoted animal lover since I was 2/3 years old. So to read books about the very creatures I was raised loving has always been a joy of mine.
I love animals. I would say dogs and horses are my favorites. My family has an "adopted" rat terrier that someone dumped a year ago. He is great, likes to sleep by my feet. Haven't ridden horses in a while but really enjoyed it when I had the opportunity.

Animals can add a special touch to a story. I am partial to dogs and horses with quirky or nobel personalities. I'd love to be entered for Trinity.
