New giveaway! Enter for a chance to win Cara Putman's latest book!
About the book:
Join attorney Alanna Stone as she returns home despite her determination to never set foot on Mackinac Island again. Once again in close proximity to Jonathan Covington, her first love, she vows to protect her privacy and her heart from the man who still makes her pulse race. But when her worst fears are realized and history repeats itself—landing her in the midst of a murder investigation—Jonathan may be her only hope. Will they be able to lay aside the past and let God heal their hearts, or will reconciliation come too late?
To enter the contest for a chance to win this book simply post a comment about reconciliation. What do you like about stories that show characters reuniting with their first love? I'll pick a winner using the Randomizer program when I return from RT in Chicago the middle the week after next (so this will be up through next Wednesday - about ten days.)

Reconciliation with your first love--who hasn't thought or maybe even dreamed of that happening? I know I have. I even saw my first love about 15 years later. To hear him say he wishes he hadn't broken up with me made me really think about what could have been. Maybe if neither one of were happily married.......probably not though, you can't re-create the past. Somehow the memories of what is was like then probably wouldn't measure now up anyway. Just my opinion.

I do love those kinds of storys! but I don't know what else to say about it. Thanks for the chance to win, I actually don't know if I qualify because of the way I answered.

I'm not one for reconciliation with a first love. He had his chance the first time and I wasn't good enough then...why would I even entertain the thought of going another round with him. I'm more special than that!
Blessings!

I am like Abigail...this is hard to put into words, but I have read love stories about a person reuniting with a love of years past, and I really love those kind of stories. I recently read two where they had a child together, but the guy did not know it for 10 or more years when they met again.
I would love to be entered for Cara's book! Thanks.

I like the reconciliation stories because they are very romantic and you can still tell they have feelings for one another. The couple are usually broken up because of a misunderstanding, family or another person. Please enter me in contest. Tore923@aol.com
and the winner is...
Judy!
