I'm adding my own new release Their Separate Ways. Since ACFW changed their rules (again) about what qualifies a publisher to be on their "approved publishers" list, my book and publisher were dropped. Since this is my blog I'm adding my title anyway because I AM an ACFW author and this IS a new release.
What happened in the hearts of Tony Perotta and Hope Williams after the affair was exposed and they went their separate ways? Was trust ever restored in their homes after their lives crashed and burned around them? Did they ever heal enough to enjoy their marriages as before, or were they even worse off after their sin was revealed? Their Separate Ways continues the saga the year after the exposure of Tony and Hope's extramarital affair. Experience with them the vast difference between couples who know true forgiveness and hope, and those who don't.

Not Without Hope and Their Separate Ways by Michelle Sutton are both great reads. I've just returned from a vacation, but I'll be posting reviews of both books very soon. They won't disappoint. I've never read one by Michelle that did. I feel it's a sad shame how an organization changes their rules so certain books can't be listed. Michelle, I'm glad to see you listed yours anyway. I also have a July release, LAST RESORT, July 15 from Desert Breeze, a Christian Romantic Suspense. Blessings, BJ
Thanks, Barbara. It's actually Never Without Hope, but you aren't the only one who calls it Not Without Hope. Yeah, it's a bummer because SOS is a great publisher and Desert Breeze is a fantastic publisher, too. But they also dropped off so my releases this year (First Response, and in Sept. In Sheep's Clothing) will not be announced on the ACFW post either.
Michelle, I didn't realize ACFW made such a change. What's the extent of it? I'm glad you included your book and several others here I didn't know about.
Patricia,
They want imprints for publishers that don't publish JUST Christian fiction. For my publisher she doesn't see the point as the books are clearly labeled as such and it would cost money to change that. So DB was dropped. The other pub was dropped because there are only two fiction authors (him and me) but there are six other non-fiction authors. SOS needs one more fiction author to get back on the approved list. But I have no control over that, so they dropped off with that rule. Sigh.
Wow. I guess the imprint is required to distinguish between the Christian fiction and all other fiction. Doesn't seem as though that should be a requirement, though. I can see where they might require a minimum number of authors in print. Interesting.
