To win a copy of both Bamboo and Lace by Lori Wick AND Under the Cajun Moon by Mindy Starns Clark, please post a comment telling me about the authors and if you've read any of their books. If you have read some of their books, do you have a favorite book by that author? If you haven't read a book by either author tell me why you'd like to win these (besides that they would be a nice Christmas gift for yourself.) Have a great time and Merry Christmas everyone! I'll pick a winner next Sunday.
I'll go first. I love both of these authors. My favorite books by Wick are Pretense and The Princess. My favorite book by Clark is Shadows of Lancaster County.
About the book:
Can their love survive two very different cultures'
Lily Walsh has never imagined anything like America. From supermarkets and swimsuits to the way women look men directly in the eye, she’s baffled by this strange new land. Raised in a remote Asian village by her disciplinarian father, 24–year–old Lily is thrilled to visit her brother Jeff in Hawaii—until Jeff is called away on urgent business.
Left in the care of Jeff’s best friend, Gabe Kapaia, and his family, Lily discovers the paradise of Oahu’s north side at the Kapaia Resort. But she walks a fine line between two worlds. Can she embrace her new experiences without breaking her promise not to shame her missionary father? When Lily finds herself falling for Gabe, her heart is torn. Will her upbringing force her to make the difficult choice between true love and family honor?
About the book:
Chloe Ledet's larger-than-life father, the famous New Orleans restaurateur Chef Julien, seems invincible---until he's shot under suspicious circumstances. Returning home, Chloe quickly discovers that their whole family is in terrible danger. Can she trust the handsome, mysterious Cajun who's helping her---or has she gone from the frying pan to the fire?

I have read one book by Mindy Clark Starns, and enjoyed it. Have read Lori Wick, but not for years

I don't know if I've entered one of your giveaways or not! I would like to win one of these books. Let me know if you need anymore information.
Thanks!
I haven't read either of these authors, though what a better place to start.
I rather like the first book's story, about love forbidden. That appeals to me being a girl of mixed cultures.
Thank you for the entry, and Happy holidays to everyone!
My favorite Lori Wick books are The Princess and her Big Sky Dreams series (Cassidy, Sabrina, and Jessie). I haven't read anything by Mindy Starns Clark before, but the premises of her books sound interesting. I just haven't gotten to one yet.

I have never read anything by Mindy Clark, though I have seen her books and they look great. I have read some Lori Wick, but don't really have a favorite. There was one I liked by her that I read years ago, but I can't remember for the life of me the title! Argh! Thanks for the chance to win these books!

I've read many of Lori Wick's books. I can't remember which ones without seeing a list of her books. Books and authors all run together.
I've never read any of Mindy's books but I love reading new authors.
I'd love to win these books. Thanks

I haven't read anything by either author and I'm always looking for something new and fresh. I would love to try them out...
Please enter me in the giveaway.
Hello! Both of these ladies are new authors for me, so I researched them on the web.
Lori Wick is an author of Christian fiction. She writes a combination of historically based novels and present day, many including romance. Many of her books are published by Harvest House. In many of her series novels, the following books don't pick up where the first left off, but focus on another related character.
Mindy Starns Clark is the bestselling author of inspirational and nonfiction works. She is also the author of numerous plays and musicals which have been performed all over the United States. She has written textbooks, articles, short stories, and more than 75 computer software manuals.
Interesting ladies.

I loved the Princess from Lori Wick, although I really liked the English Garden Series too. I have not yet read Mindy's books, but I've been wanting to get my hands on them. Both of these books have been on my wishlist, so winning would be fabulous. :)
you say its easy as pie, yet l never win :( throw my name in the ole hat once again... Percy
I haven't read either book or any books by the authors! The descriptions sound interesting tho! I'd love to win to gift one to my friend and myself! We love to read new books!
I have only read one book by Lori Wick and that was a long time ago. I think it was a Placed Called Home. I have yet to read anything by Mindy Starns Clark, but I would very much like to read either of these two books! My mom would also like to read these stories; I usually pass along books to her when I am done.
Thanks for the chance! Merry Christmas!

I have not read either of these authors at this time. Both of these books' plots appeal to me at this time. Also one of the reading challenges I am doing this next year focuses on finding new authors for me and reading one or more of their books. These books would help me toward completing this reading challenge.
