I agree that graphic violence should not be allowed in the Christian book arena. Obviously, murders take place, but bone-chilling, barbaric, extreme violence need not be described graphically

I agree with what that person said. I do not read horror, or even suspense. I am easily scared, and so, have to be extra careful. The Bible says, in no uncertain terms, that fear is a BAD thing. It is not of God. So I personally think that those types of books are hypocritical.
Truth? Yes. Horror? No.
