To enter the giveaway merely post a comment about what intrigues you about the story and I'll toss your name in the hat. If your answer is really well thought-out, I may even toss your name in twice. How can I do that? Mwahahaha. It's my contest. Don't forget to leave me a way to reach you if you win. If I can't contact you because you didn't leave an e-mail or have one on blogger, I pick someone else.
About the Book:
Eight years ago, Vienne Kenney moved away from Clayburn and all its gossip to pursue a law degree in California. But now she has failed the bar exam again. Is she destined to be stuck forever, a failure -- just like her father -- in this two-horse Kansas town?
Nine months ago, Jackson Linder left Clayburn with no explanation to anybody. Now he, too, is back. He isn't sure he's ready to face the rumors and well-meaning questions of the town's busybodies. Yet he's determined, once more, to make his art gallery a success -- in spite of the secret that haunts him every day....
My thoughts:
Due to my new position as editor-in-chief I've been a tad busier than normal (don't laugh) and so my good intentions to at least start this one went out the window. However, you can't go wrong with a Deb Raney novel. I read them all. That said, this one will definitely get reviewed. Just not before today.

well, I really like the cover and that alone makes me want to read the book! I know, I know, don't judge a book by its cover but I can't seem to help it!

I've heard wonderful things about this book. I think I could learn alot from this book about seeking validation and the importance of forgiving oneself and others.

I would love to find out what the secret that haunts Jackson is and what is holding Vienne. also what happens to the town busybodies. (they always tend to cause problems)
Sounds like a good read.
I'm loving Remember to Forget and would really like to read this one. I know your life just got more busy. But I for one definitely appreciate the things you do with Christian fiction!

I don't remember another Deb Raney novel I have read, so this intrigues me --- I'd love to give her a shot!
"Remember to Forget" was the first Deborah Raney book I have read. I felt sorry for Jackson after reading it. His story was a sequel waiting to happen. I would love to see what happens to him.

Hi, When this book first came out and I saw it on someone's blog, the cover caught my eye. Partly, because fall is my favorite season and because of the book's title has an autumn air to it! It seems like Vienne and Jackson may be subconsciously following a self-fulfilling prophecy. Somehow, I have the idea that they will find each other and themselves! Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks,Cindi

I've never read Deborah Raney before and that alone is one reason why I'd like a go at this one. In addition, I enjoy books about law students--the characters seem to be deeper than those of a regular romance novel.
I enjoy contemporary fiction with themes of returning home, haunting secrets of the past, etc. And I'm really drawn to books with a small-town setting, probably because I live in a big city but my parents grew up in a rural area.
But the best part is the Kansas setting. While in graduate school in northwest Kansas many years ago, I worked in a church in a small town just like the one in this book.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy!

I love Deborah Raney and even posted a review on Remembering to Forget recently. Deb left me wanting to know what happened to Jackson. I love that Deb is so skilled as writer that she creates characters that relfect our own lives. Who doesn't have a past that at times we wish we could forget? Please enter me in the drawing. This is on my wish list.
Sounds like a book I'd like to win.
I would really enjoy reading one of Deborah's books. thanks for another giveaway :)
And the winner is... Ausjenny!
Wow thanks so much look forward to reading this book
Okay, I think I feel right now about like the young woman on the cover looks. HARUMMPPHH!
Oops, you asked what intrigues me about the story, didn't you? I'd like to know why Vienne is having trouble passing the bar and why she considers her father a failure. Or if that's not her opinion, whose is it? Why did Jackson leave and why did he come back? And who are these busybodies?
Sounds like I need to read the book!
