This is a pretty cool cover, eh? It's for the Media Predict contest (Touchstone Books/Simon & Schuster) that will be up on the web soon. When I get a link to the site I'll share it assuming that's allowed by the company. At any rate, they had to come up with a cover for my proposal and this is what they came up with! I think it's hilarious. Do you think you'd buy a book with this cover if you were itching to buy one at the store? Just curious. Well, I haven't sold the book yet, but at least it's in the contest under consideration by whomever checks it out. Soooo...tell me what you think. I'm dying to know. :)

It's eye-catching! That one pic sort of wraps it up -- girl goes out into the world, maybe her first job or whatever -- and feels like a foreigner. Where do I fit? Will I ever find my way around this strange place? The cover alone is enough to make a person pick up the book and read the synopsis, if not buy it on the spot. Love it.
